Pinball Machines Featured

The pinball machines utilized in PAPA tournaments are drawn primarily from a private collection of over four hundred pins. For qualifying and final rounds, only the machines most suitable for tournament play are selected. All machines used in competition are kept in the best possible condition.

Machines not used in competition are available for practice play any time the facility is open during the tournament. These machines are set to 25-cent or 50-cent play. No coin drop is required on tournament machines during qualifying entries and final rounds. Tournament machines are not available for practice play at any time.

In order to avoid the possibility of any unfair advantage, the following list is merely indicative of the machines that may be present. No specific list of machines is guaranteed to be present for the tournament. Note that there may, of course, be multiple instances of any machine.

This list does not include older machines which may appear in the Classics Divisions or practice banks, and is by no means exhaustive in any respect.

During the final rounds of the tournament, each division plays on a set of machines different from those used during qualifying. The selection of machines for each division's final rounds will not be announced until the final rounds begin on Sunday. Similarly, the exact selection of machines for each division's qualifying rounds will not be available until the tournament opens on Thursday.

All machines are fully shopped, in good working order, and properly setup and leveled. Tournament rules and settings are being utilized. Although nearly all of these machines have seen play "in the field", every effort has been made, and is being made on an ongoing basis, to maintain tournament-quality playability. Please keep in mind that very few new pinball machines are being built, and that of course a well-used machine may still be restored to excellent condition.
